Santiago, "Fragments of a city".

The series invites you to visit different neighborhoods of Santiago between the 19th and 20th centuries. During this period, the city founded by Pedro de Valdivia in 1541 at the foot of Cerro Huelén, present-day Santa Lucía, was consolidating, giving rise to aristocratic, residential neighborhoods, with a religious vocation, meetings of artists and intellectuals.

Over the decades these neighborhoods have undergone changes due to population flows, but in their buildings, streets and corners they retain the charm of a past that mixes with the dynamics of a city, which writes its traces on these traces. new stories, giving new life to Greater Santiago.

Santiago, “Fragmentos de una ciudad".
La serie invita a recorrer diversos barrios de Santiago transcurridos entre los siglos XIX y XX. En este periodo la urbe fundada por Pedro de Valdivia en 1541 a los pies del Cerro Huelén, actual Santa Lucía, se va consolidando dando origen a barrios de carácter aristocrático, residenciales, de vocación religiosa, y lugar de encuentro de artistas e intelectuales.

Con el paso de las décadas estos barrios han ido experimentado cambios a partir de los flujos de población, pero en sus edificaciones, calles y rincones conservan el encanto de un pasado que se mezcla con la dinámica de una ciudad, que escribe sobre éstas huellas sus nuevos relatos, dandole nueva vida al Gran Santiago.
