PATAGONIA GREEN CORRIDOR

Electromobility, Culture, and Sustainable Tourism

Español

Big Magazine, in collaboration with Enel X, PER Turismo Aysén, and with crucial support from Corfo and GORE Aysén, proudly presents a pioneering electromobility project. This initiative not only connects the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia but also sets a new standard in sustainability and eco-friendly tourism.

This revolutionary project deploys a network of 17 chargers for electric vehicles along the iconic Carretera Austral. This system not only provides efficient charging but also promotes sustainable tourism and the preservation of the natural environment. Each charger represents a step towards a cleaner and more connected future.

Beyond charging, this project aims to transform perceptions of mobility and tourism. With the backing of local and regional institutions, we are building more than charging stations. We are building a future where mobility and sustainability merge.

This project highlights the importance of public-private collaboration in creating solutions for global challenges. Electromobility in Patagonia is a beacon guiding us toward a future where sustainable mobility is not only possible but essential.

Traversing the Carretera Austral now not only means exploring stunning landscapes but also being part of a monumental shift toward more environmentally friendly travel practices. This project is an invitation for everyone to join the electromobility revolution.

We Invite You to Be Part of the Future of Mobility in Patagonia!

Electromobility can have a positive impact on Patagonia by encouraging more sustainable mobility practices, such as carpooling, bicycle use, and public transportation. By reducing the number of internal combustion engine vehicles on the roads, congestion is decreased, and greenhouse gas emissions are reduced, contributing to a lower carbon footprint.

Promoting electromobility can boost sustainable tourism by providing environmentally friendly transportation options for Patagonia's visitors. This can help preserve natural landscapes and reduce the environmental impact of tourism.
