The National Park Alberto de Agostini in Patagonia covers 14,600 km2 ( 5,637 square miles ) and includes the Cordillera Darwin, which is the final stretch of the Andes before it becomes a mountain range that plunge into the Pacific Ocean and the Beagle Channel .
