Dawn McCarthy is a working artist, photographer and art director in Miami. Her "Cuba in Color" work was exhibited in several galleries in Manhattan in 2002-03.

She travelled over the Andes mountains on horseback for ten days shooting a story for Big Magazine. Her work has also been part of group shows in Miami and Minneapolis. McCarthy travels extensively and much of her work has been shot in Cuba, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Argentina and the Caribbean. She resides in Miami, FL, with her two daughters and husband.
